gunshot rottweiler needs good home

OK, yes this is off the (distance riding) topic but so are a lot of other
posts to ridecamp and this is a good cause.  
I have a very nice 13 month old rottwieler here who needs a loving home. 
Owner brought him in on emergency wed. nite- he'd been shot in the front
leg.  Said "do whatever it takes" to save him.
Long story but  after looking at radiographs his options were referral to
an orthopedic specialist or amputation. he wanted the person who shot the
dog to pay- he refused.  and he said he couldnt deal w/ 3 legged dog so
said to euthanize him.  That just really ticked me off.  this is a young,
healthy dog w/a great personality and the owner was just ready to throw him
away...
I convinced him to give me the dog.  we did surgery thurs. nite.  he was
under anesthesia 4 hrs amputated front leg and neutered him.

Now he's doing fine- running around w/ my dogs- acting like a big puppy.  I
do not need another dog and want to find him a good home where he'll get
the attention he deserves.
