Fred - 4 year old Arabian/Appaloosa Buckskin Gelding.

Fred is sure to be an outstanding endurance horse. Sired by Ibn Okba (Arabian) who himself has a spectacular career on the racetrack and has sired both track and endurance off spring. Dam was an Appaloosa that was ApHC Distance national champion, had a nearly decade long endurance career, her foals have proven to be athletic and trainable.

Fred has a good handle on him. In the arena soft with his cues, steady at the walk/jog/lope, leg yield side pass, turns on the haunches and forehand. Likes to do new things and thoroughly enjoys his time out with you. Trail experience both on bridle path and technical narrow trails, leads confidently, goes mid pack and will pick up the rear, crosses bridges, ground covering marching like walk yet waits patiently for his slower trail buddies to catch up. Cool horse and excited to see all the fun things he will get to do with his new owner.

    Dilly.

    Free Lease to approved home

Dilly is an Arabian mare - 14.3 hands, approx 14-15 years old. Very athletic and very fancy mover. She was pulled from a kill pen 3 years ago. I don’t know why she was there. She is very sound and easy to deal with. She is friendly, easy to catch and not spooky. She loads, lunges, ties, stands well for vet and farrier and is an easy keeper. She gets along with other horses and does well in a stall or outside. I haven’t been able to ride her like I had hoped so I am offering her as a free lease to an approved home. I think she is well suited to do endurance. She was with a trainer and ridden regularly about 18 months ago but hardly any since then. She is not a beginner’s horse because she has a lot of go and needs a confident and quiet rider. I am hoping to find someone who has the time and ability to really enjoy her - long or short term. Located in northwest Georgia just below Chattanooga, TN

SeeeU. This is another straight Russian fourth generation Firedance Farms endurance horse! He is our only gelding for sale at this time!

SeeeU is a full brother to Seeeker, Shimmerrr, and Silver Angel. He is by Naalo (Menes grandson) out of Fleur D Angel (Mag granddaughter). This cross doesn't produce huge Arabians, but they have excellent bone and backs. This cross is exceptional in personality; all are super friendly and easy to manage. They are also not spooky and very surefooted! Russian horses are known for their excellent pulse rates and toughness, and they will always get 10s in gait with that 'Russian trot'! He will be 15.0-15.1.

$5000. For more information see our webpage.

Lovable and beautiful half-Arab endurance gelding, PSR Snickers, $4000,

Gelding, Bay, Star. Strip & Snip to Upperlip. Left fore partial fetlock. Left hid partial sock, Age: 21, 15H, 1100lbs, IAHA, IA 348323, Foaled: 2002, Coming 21, Snickers is more like a 14 year old. Pedigree here.

    Video here.

Snickers has been with me since he was 8 months old, raised in a herd of 5 on 50 acres. He gets along very well with other horses, dogs and loves people. He is the most comfortable horse I have ever ridden in my life. I am now coming on 76 years and Snickers is not being ridden enough. He loves to go out on the trail. He loves endurance and usually comes in top ten and occasionally gets BC (I am a featherweight).

He has been barefoot his entire life and has great hooves. He is extremely healthy and has lots of miles left in him whether for trail or endurance (he is extremely sure footed on the narrowest of trails). He does all the usual, clips, loads, wash - loves to be groomed. He first started his endurance career when he was 6 years old after 3 months of training with an excellent dressage instructor.

He has had all his shots, dental, worming, etc on a regular basis. Every summer from 2017-2020 he was ridden twice a week by a dressage instructor. His instructor told me he is very smart, a fast learner and very willing. His last endurance ride was the AERC National Championship in 2019. Of note: Snickers is of the ABU FARWA lineage , 541-326-6950, cell 760-324-2940.

13-year old mare and almost 3-month old colt for adoption through Love This Horse Arab rescue in Mojave CA. I am currently fostering them in Bear Valley Springs.

This is a beautiful colt and he is going to be a big boy! His sire, also a rescue, was a 16 hand black Arabian. He was gelded and adopted. No papers on them, but we are doing a DNA test on the mare (called Leona). The colt I named Sir Prize because no one realized Leona was in foal.

If I were 20 years younger, I would keep Prize. But, since I'll be 80 when he's 6...

If interested, they can be seen at my home in Bear Valley. An application for adoption must go through Love This Horse. There is an adoption fee involved. They do not have to be adopted together. I would be happy to answer questions about them.

Sky is a beautiful, athletic 14.3H half arab mare, 14-15 years of age. AERC# H52399, shows her records.

She wants to be doing endurance again, and while I do too, my health issues are preventing me from riding as much as I’d like.

Sky is sound, sane, and competitive. She eats and drinks well on the trail. She has good feet and has been barefoot for at least ten years; I use Easyboot Gloves on her fronts for trail riding. She stands quietly for trimming, clipping, bathing, vets, etc. Trailers easily and quietly. I ride 90% of the time out in the desert or mountains alone; she rides nicely with others, but doesn’t appreciate horses hanging over her rump on trail. She prefers being out in front, but will politely ride in back also. She is not a groupie, and will happily pass and leave other horses.

She lives in a large corral with my older gelding and although it breaks my heart to part with her, I know she wants to be doing more. She would like a kind and competent and confident rider to get her legged up and back in the game. If you are that kind of rider, you can call me at 435-660-1000. I'm located in central Utah.
