 Oct 19, 9pm EST. There's a certain sense of giddy seriousness now. Stagg has gotten cleaned up and carrying notebooks of 'stuff'. He said he'd be calm for the BoD Meeting after riding to 100 the day/night before.

There are 3 VC areas for 5 stops.

  • 23 miles to Curtis Field 1 VC1 45 minute hold
  • 23 miles to Fitchetts 1 VC1 45 minute hold
  • 18 miles to Fitchetts 2 VC 3 30 minute hold
  • 13 miles to Curtis Field 2 VC 4 30 minute hold
  • 14 miles to Edinburg Gap VC5 20 minute hold
  • 9 miles to Finish
There are 38 listed starters in the 100 that starts at 5am with chance of rain all nite and into the morning. Its not raining now.

John Crandall III will again be riding Heraldic and may be going for the Triple Crown. Stagg is riding Super, Nina on Zorro,Kathy on Thereatric, Daryl Downs on Cincinnati, Meg Sleeper, Jeannie Waldron, Darolyn and CeCi, Jody and Joni(the only Jr,)Tom Hutchinson, Libby,Jeremy Olson ,Anna Wolfe, Dana Reeder and other my mind forgets due to burn out already. I apologize

Its gonna be a Race and here's my question to you the AERC Membership??...Where are all you Western, Mountain and Central people (Besides Daroly and CeCi) Maybe someone sliped by but this is a mostly regional race, it not truly National, is it? Food for your thought..
