Second thought.  Are the horses barefoot?  How is the wear pattern on the 
hind hooves?  My first horse was truly cow hocked & she wore the toes of her 
hind hooves short.  The better conformed horses wear their hooves down much 
more uniformly so that they hardly need a trim when shoes go on.
Guess I've now subjected everyone to at least 3 cents worth.
