You forgot the other advantages, They do not eat as much( at least mine
dosen't), and generally they are easier to keep fat. and you don't have to get a
really big trailer to haul them around in. My mule could spent the night in our
two horse trailer with out the partition and it would seem like she was in a box
stall.
