Sorry I misunderstood, Lif! I too set up the feed for the next feeding,
especially after the PM feeding. But in hot, humid NJ the stuff will
ferment if I soak it too long. So my AM routine is: let the dog out,
put water on feed, let dog in, feed dog and cat, brush my teeth etc, feed
horses,
set up dry feed for PM. But you also appear to have a lot more horses than
I do, so
the time factor would be more significant plus in dry New Mexico the
fermentation
issue probably isn't as great.
Sarah Ralston and Fling (hey, I can wait to eat-I'm much more interested in
the kids next door on the trampoline anyway-talk about a good de-spooker!)
Folly (I'll munch on hay til it's ready)
Charlie (I want mine NOW and I'll pace the fence line til I get it!)
