Crabbet Day

I got permission from Melissa to forward this to ya'll; for those in
endurance, this is a good opportunity to learn more about the Crabbet
lines in CMK that do so well in endurance! :):

On November 6 we are having Crabbet Day in the W. K. Kellogg Arabian
Horse
Library, and we will be having two expert speakers on the subject.

Sandy Rolland Clark has graciously consented to come all the way from
*Missouri* to California to speak to us!  Sandy is going to be bringing
lots of her books that people will be able to buy, plus she will
autograph
them.  Sandy has a wealth of knowledge, as can be easily seen from the
quality of her books and articles. Personally, I've been wanting to meet
her for years. 

Lois Selby Perry will be speaking about the Selby imports from Crabbet,
such as *Raffles, *Nureddin II, *Kareyma, Indaia, *Rifala, *Rose of
France, *Rimini, Hilwe, and *Mirage.  Lois thought the program was a 
wonderful idea and is greatly looking forward to participating.

Admission is $15 and includes refreshments.  RSVP by November 4 to me at
