Yes, this is exactly why RMs carry ride insurance, but sometimes you wonder
if the insurance company can figure some way out of paying. It happens all
the time with insurance companies. My husband figures the bystanders are
more of a liability than anyone else at a ride. The riders know the risk and
are willing to take it, but bystanders are a question mark. At least Jim
understands the inherent dangers of the sport, whereas some spectators do not.
