Hair Trimming (was Re: How about Us???)

     Okay, I know the reasons people give for not trimming the whiskers and
     eyebrows, but why shouldn't you clip the insides of ears?  I know
     there must be a medical reason, I just don't know what it is.  I don't
     trim anything but the bridle path, by the way.  (and not a very big
     one at that)

     I don't believe it's illegal, simply not customary.
     Some of the local DQ's have adopted the curious practice of not
     trimming
the whiskers on their horses because of the European custom, and yet they
trim all the hair from the insides of the ears. Go figure.
