Re: Accident at ride this weekend in Montana...???
Having done many personal injury lawsuits, I can state that almost NO
cases turn out to be as good as they look when you first hear the story.
ALSO experience has taught me that it's pretty much useless to sue
someone with no insurance. I know I don't have insurance for my
activities while riding and I'd be willing to bet that the two riders
involved don't either. Does anyone else have this kind of insurance?
Does it even exist? MOST attorneys won't take a case unless the other
party has insurance. Even if a case could be made against ride
management or the person in the truck, I'm hopeful that most people who
actually ride know that ACCIDENTS happen.
