VC 100
No, Hal did not ride just Ann. She was riding a cute grey mare - sorry,
can't remember her name. She came up sore behind - stepped on and rolled a
rock coming down off Sign Hill. I don't know which horse Jazon was riding
but was told it's his *best* one what ever that means.
Gave the Podium a 3 hour ride today - climbed some very steep hills, did
lots of galloping and of course trotting. Brawo was a happy boy! Really
moved well - frees up those shoulders. I felt very balanced and secure in
the saddle. I am a middleweight and almost 6' tall. This saddle is a 16"
and I will probably get the 17. The sweat pattern was great, air down the
spine and no dry spots. Brawo has very high withers and an extremely short
back. Hal had them put the pad right to the saddle. It's made out of
waffle, foamy stuff that can be hosed off. I could look down and see the
saddle *roll* with the horse but not move! My husband will try it on
another of our horses with a very different back and we shall see. Can you
tell I was also a happy rider!
