Boggs suspension

Does anyone know if David Boggs is any relation to Gene Boggs who trains 
Saddlebreds in Ohio?  Local paper just ran an article about an area teen who 
won at the Saddlebred nationals, and mentioned that Gene Boggs was the 
trainer of the horse.  Please respond privately as this isn't really 
endurance related--but the similarity in surnames has me curious.
