Many Paints carry the genetics for roaning, too. In fact, it is very popular
with some folks. And just as a historical footnote, Paints and QH's carry a
VERY high percentage of Arabian blood. Janus, who is more or less the
founding sire of the QH breed, had a pedigree chock-full of Arabs and grade
Arabs. And of course, every cross back to TB's introduces Arab blood, too.
So many of the same genes are there...
