Yes, Merthiolate is excellent for White Line Disease. Sorry, I don't know
how you can purchase it anymore. However, SBS makes a line of products for
WLD treatment and they do work. I'm pretty sure that their products actually
contain merthiolate. Anyway, SBS can be found in several catalogs including
KV Vet supply. There is Sav-A-Hoof gel that is put on under the shoe,
Sav-A-Hoof liquid, etc. I've used bothmerthiolate and SBS and can personally
recommend both.
