AERC Membership Survey

I received my AERC survey in the mail.  One question lists several
"services" provided by AERC and asks to indicate your degree of
satisfaction.  One  "service" is the "equine registry."  Does any one know
what this is?  Are they referring to the 1000-mile horse program?????
