Teddy - What kind of gyrations do you speak of regarding Trilby?  
The halter horse world performs cosmetic surgery on ears, tatoos eyes, gingers tails, sands hooves and many of barbaric practices one could witness at about 3 a.m. in the dark corners of the barns at Arab Nationals.  

I had hope this sport was above cruelty for the sake of winning, ego furfillment and monetary gain.
