Angie: You misconstrue my words! What you do is to ask your horse to politely ask the horse in front to allow passing. If the answer is NO! then you ask your horse to up the pressure to pass and tell the horse in front that if it kicks, please be sure to get the rider not the horse. After all you would not want to see your horse injured would you?
