Hi Joane - There's been a lot (maybe not even enough) posted lately on
rider dehydration and the bad things that can happen. I hope people
start learning! People have got to take care of themselves just as they
take care of their horses. However, for some people there is ibuprofen
(or other pain killer) or no riding at all. If Ibuprofen causes kidney
damage when a person is dehydrated then forewarned is forearmed: If
you've got to take it, drink lots of water - you should be anyway if you
want to stay healthy & keep your wits about you when riding. Doesn't
seem to be that much of a problem to me, at least not enough to give up
the pain killers!
As with any drug or herb - nothing is 100% safe. Engage brain cells
before ingesting. Lif
