Elk Valley

Having done both rides let me say that the climbs at Elk Valley are more significant but less rocky.  I believe the ride manager subscribes to ridecamp so perhaps she would give us a trail run down.  I was at Snake Hill this weekend also but was "spot" less riding instead a beautiful black morgan stallion that is finishing up his ultimate morgan sport horse.  I was very glad to have low humidity and overcast skys.
