That was Jesse Jarrett and you can bet his horse wasn't right.  His first
ride ever was last year when Claude Brewer invited him to go to Florida
and he did a 20 hour 100!  By the time I sponsored him at Biltmore last
Spring he was on his 3rd 100.  One tough kid!  He's starting his own
horse now with hopes of doing 100's as soon as possible.  I'll bet he was
one bag of unused energy when he had to pull at 12 miles.
