Ford or Dodge
Hi Steph:
The new Fords can also be ordered with a 6 speed transmission that the Dodge
does not have. Whatever you choose, have them add the engine brake, which is
known as a Jacobs brakes that the big rigs have. It will help save your brakes
on long down-hill grades and sudden stops. The four-door Ford has more room
than the Quad-cab Dodge.
The Dodge may have the Cummins engine, but Ford makes a better truck, plus the
Cummins is only a 6 cylinder and the Powerstroke is an 8.
