This is why I ask the question, he's one of those guys who gets 12 to
16# of grain a day when working, even on off days (he's currently on
sabatical and gets 6# a day just to walk around the paddock). We feed
the grain in four feedings a day.
I gather there is a way to not to use such dense feeds, am making sure
that I'm not sunderstanding, Heidi's trick of making him eat more hay.
If there is a way I'll give it a try. I know that there are several of
us out here with horses like this, making Hal eat more hay gives me
visions of an equine version of Pate Fois. VBG
