I suspect the vibrations you experience is caused by air turbulance between
your truck and trailer. This happens to me right about 50 mph. I have a cap
on the truck and a bumper pull trailer with a flat fronter nose. Doesn't
happen with a friend bumper pull with an aerodynamic nose design. The
turbulance will actually shake the door of the cap so much that the handle
will slowly turn then the door will open and lift upwards unless I lock it!
Only happens right around 50 mph. The air turbulance probably matches some
sort of resonant frequency at that speed which amplifies any vibration. I
know, sounds goofy, but resonant frequencies are a reality, reeaalyy. Trust
me.
