Help! Going to Lubbock, Texas...

Found out that we're packing our bags, saddles, and business and moving
to Lubbock, Texas in a month.  Problem is... I never set foot in that
area and as a result, have no idea where to board 'Lee that is safe. 
Anyone from that area would like to help out a soon-to-be transplant?

I would greatly appreciate *any* information on places to keep her
either in Lubbock or surrounding northern area... safety and a
conscientious stable manager are my biggest concerns for my aging mare.
