There aren't too many people responding who <have> used the fanny pack,
but those who do love them. The Gobee by Camelbak was listed as great,
but didn't hold enough at 40 oz (I was told approximately the amount in
2 sports bottles).
Gregory and Ultimate are two names that cropped up repeatedly.
Australian Connection seems to cary some innovative designs in water
systems from Ultimate. I have used other ultimate products and found
them to be very durable. They are installing baffles in the bladder to
keep the water from sloshing (very annoying.) I need to get my
Australian Connection catalog out!
Gregory makes a fanny pack that holds 110 oz with a bite valve that
sounds similar to Camelbak and Ultimate. It comes with what sounds like
a lot of pockets to stash stuff, so maybe that would be the way to go -
more water & storage... What more can an endurance rider want?
