Lazer Therapy
Steph
Lazer therapy is similar but not identical to the Bioscan lights. Lazer,
however is a genuine lazer beam. It is a "cold" lazer beam as opposed to
"hot" (cutting, slicing) lazer beam. It encourages enhanced healing of
wounds, open and closed by stimulating the lymphatic system and increasing the
flow of blood to an area. It can be directed to a pinpoint area for very
deep, intense stimulation. I would use it at accupressure points for things
such as colic or tieing up and had very good results. It also can be directed
in a broad sweep to cover a larger area such as in muscle soreness, pulls,
bows, etc. In conjunction with massage therapy it is great. Lazer is more
powerful and penetrates to a greater depth than Bioscan and as previously
stated is "genuine" lazer. It should never be used on gout or anything
cancerous, or in the eyes. I had very good results with mine and am very
sorry I sold my machine....oh well
