A young horse like yours can still learn how to Rein properly in the ring and how
to bend
and work off the bit. there is a lot that you can do to get the horse ready for
the trail while
they are still so young. My experiance is that they do very well on the trail with
a little bit of ring riding. Most people think it is boring but you will notice
the difference out on the
trail.
