Karen makes a good point here folks. I believe that horse use of trails
is an increasingly endangered practice. Whenever we ride we should keep
in mind preserving the integrity of the trail we are riding on as well as
the integrity of our PR with other trail users. THEY turn out at the
meetings. THEY are often well organized
and frequently opposed to horse use. We simply cannot take our trails
for granted any longer. Join forces, go to meetings, participate in
trail maintenance days. and stay off the wet trails in the spring.
Just an easterner's 2 cents worth.
