riding. There is already a maximum time for LD rides, 6 hours. There could

people who want to pace themselves and their horses. You wouldn't be forced
to keep up a 7 mph pace if you weren't up to it, nor would you be rewarded
for galloping 25 miles. 

I also think there should be more than one BC award, perhaps 1st BC down to
5th or 6th place. Right now you cna have a field of 20 riders adn only one
BC award, so only one person goes home with a prize.

I know we all ride because we like to and prizes aren't what keeps us
coming, however, prizes or ribbons do help people feel good about what
they've accomplished.
