Ride Results - Manzanita/Desert Pines

Here are the results from the Manzanita 25/50 and Desert Pines 100.  The day
just sort of "blew" by.  We had a great turn out, and although the day was
windy, the horses did well with no mishaps and no trail sabotage.  We had
some terrific volunteers who came out and helped on that day and I think
riders and volunteers had a great time.  We again were fortunate to have the
talent of Pat and Nicco who took the ride pictures.  (What a bonus!).  My
plan for next year with this ride is to have it as an elevator ride.  The
Manzanita would be a 25/50/75 and riders could elevate to a higher mileage.
The Desert Pines would be an 80 and 100 mile ride.  The riders could
elevate, but would have to make that decision at the 50 mile mark.  I
tentatively have this scheduled for September 25th which is a full moon.
