Scurf
Isn't that what they call the flaky skin under the saddle pad after a
ride?
What causes it and what can I do to minimize it? I ride in a SS with a
Skito pad.
The girth is loose, so I believe the saddle moves around a little (I also
use a breast-
collar and crupper). Could this be it? Or, she wasn't really clean before
the ride.
She didn't show dirt, but you could raise some with a pat on the rump.
Not what
you'd call a dirty horse, but she had some on her.
I've never really had this problem before. Aren't there always new ones?
: )
