What is this business of listening for gut sounds all about?When is this done re endurance riding?Or in cases of suspected risk of colic?(As in,"Oh shit,he's been in that new grass all night!")What do you listen for other than "yes,there's action in there"? Question #2:Isn't it true that for identical regimes/diets some individuals are more or less susceptible to colic than others? My horse came to me with a reputation of being indestructable,generally,and it's been true,so far.
