I don't know where your rides are, but out here, a Kinkos may be
3 hours away. I don't think taking the map there is practical.

Just put your map in a large zip lock bag. Fold it, and put it
in a handy pouch, pocket, whatever. There are also special Map Bags
that you can get at a climbing store.
