Hay includes pasture. It's just really hard to figure out how much of
that grass they mowed. So, for your horses, when on pasture, if you could,
weigh the grass they eat and suppliment with cut hay. This would be
your total of 1.5%.

In the spring I suppliment 0% cut and baled hay. They fend for themselves
and probably get much more than 1.5%. Then they get bored and want more.
