In a flat-back bucket with the gallon markings, put 2 gallons HOT water.
Add 3lb coffee can (ok...so it's not 3lbs any more but you know what I mean)
of beet pulp pellets. In 3-4 hours ( the time between getting home from
school till feeding time in the evening, it expands to over 3 1/2 gallons,
or better, almost enough for each of 6 horses to get a 3lb can of WET pulp
mixed with dry corn/barley. 1-lb for the non-working horses, 3 lbs to the
hard-keepers mixed with pro-biotics.
Tonight was cold ( buy our standards ) and the beet pulp was still warm, it
felt good to feed them something warm on a cold night.

ps...I add lots of bermuda to this.
Question Susan...can I double the beet pulp (wet) to 6 lbs/day without
problems. With expansion, this stuff is CHEAP to use. How can it be GOOD
FOR THEM TOO!!
