told that much use of this can cause liver damage. Has anyone out there
heard of this before? And that it was really bad for endurance horses
because of the stress they have.

Don't know, Connie. But Fort Dodge has a new product out called Quest which
seems to be a better approach than any current wormers. Used once every 3
months because it kills both large and small strongyles--as well as the rest
of the gut worms.
