AERC Drug Rule

In reference to Ramey's post the other day as to the interpretation and
realities of the AERC Drug Rule, the Board has dealt with this problem
for many years. At the last AERC Midyear Board meeting a Sub-Committee
was formed with Courtney Hart as chair and made up of representatives
form various AERC Committees. I represent the P&G, and the other members
are from the Vet, Competitions, Ride Managers and Legal. Our goal is to
better define and modify our AERC Drug Rule without affecting the
integrity of our sport. We will be presenting our proposals to the
Board prior to the annual AERC Board Meeting.
