I'm no expert on this but the quantity of organisms is much higher in the
probiotics stuff. I have no idea how much yogurt you'd have to feed a
1,000 lb. horse to get the same result.

You're probably correct. We went from yogurt to probiotics in Vita-Flex's
Accel--but I personally started moving manure from another horse into the
back of the mouth of the affected horse.
