Very well put. It is heartbreaking to see puppies coming in with
coronavirus or distemper, all for the lack of a vaccine. The owner
thought the vaccine is too much money and then spends $$$$$ trying
to kept an animal alive once there are infected.
I am a registered veterinarian technician and I have been vaccinated
with rabies everyother year since 1985, and am happy I am vaccinated.
You never know what comes through that door.
North Carolina, where I am from, is having some rough times with
rabies right now. So even though here it is the law to vaccinate
the little critters, my horses are also covered. We do see horses
here at the university who have come in with rabies, not only is
it a hard thing to see, the owners and whoever else that has come
in contact with the horse haS to go through the rabies series.
