Finished reading a little while ago "The Natural Rider" by Mary Wanless.
Highly reccommend it. Though it's English riding she refers to it's mainly
about mind and attitude in riding and the how-to specifics are applicable
to/basic to all riding, I think. This is one of the very best books I've
read. I became a much more "causative" rider as soon as I'd read it-much
to the surprise of the one particularly willful horse. Big improvement!
I understand she has another, I think it may be called a "Master Class in
Natural Riding" and I believe it is more specifics and less about
"mind-set".
