Hope you'll forgive the non-endurance post.
You know its windy when you go out to ride and think - hmmm, a little too
much dirt in the air maybe I'll wait - then notice that the wind is tearing
the roof off your loafing shed. So you end up using your pick-up cab in
lieu of scaffolding and tossing tires on the roof and tacking in nails - after
one section goes flying - lucklily not damaging anything when it went- to save
the rest of the roof.
You know it was a chinook when you had to peel off windbreaker and work in
a t-shirt.
This must also be another hit on the red neck list:
When you have more tires holding down a roof than on all your vehicles combined.
