Just to clarify here: The AERC only scheduled the AERC Classic because
Susan had said she was not going to hold the ROC anymore, and the AERC
wanted to provide such an event for the riders. After there was too much
money invested to cancel the AERC event Susan changed her mind. Most
riders with the resources to attend only one such event chose the
established ROC.
