Just thought I'd mention our horse. He has "wrinkly" armpits and gets
sores from friction in hot, humid weather (not from girth contact-just from
his wrinkles rubbing). We have started using spray deodorant (must be high
in talc content) under his "pits" before we ride. If it is really hot and
sweaty, we take it in our saddle bag and re-apply on the trail. Has worked
wonderfully! (But we get some really funny looks spraying it on!)
