It seems that there might be a relitively simple solution to both the horse
registration fee, and the dues issue. Horses cannot be ridden until 48 months
of age, so make that the min. age for registration, this would stop the
registration of all new borns, and most will be sold prior to that age. Since
this is the basis for the new fee. And charge 1/2 price for dues after June
of that year. This would be fair and encourage more people to join the AERC.
And would not be a paper work nightmare for the AERC office. And as my in
house director would say, write your director so that they know your opinions
and can vote accordingly. Use the power of your pen, our directors will
listen......................
