I think the 1 time $10/horse fee is reasonable. Someone who tracks a lot of
horses causes more work for AERC should pay for it. The membership fees are
plenty high enough. Fee for service is the only remedy that's fair. The
$33,000 "profit" sounds like a lot. But that was in July. The bulk of
AERC's money
is taken in the first part of the year. That money had to pay expenses till
November. Then we'll know if there was really a profit.
Does the board not caring about your spending money?
It's YOUR board. Nominations have closed for next year and most regions
don't need an election-only 2 nominations. The members must either be
satisfied or they're willing to let the other guy do the work.
