When you save your scanned image, be sure to save it as a JPG (known as a
JPEG file) file type. JPG files are highly compressable without losing
much clarity, check the file size after saving, it should be under 70kb for
internet mail, preferably under 40kb. If larger, then resave with more
compression. And NEVER send it to everyone on a mail list, simply post a
request for folks to email you privately for the file and attach it to your
response to their email.

I have only sent pic with the scanner before. It seems to be all garbled
junk but when I look at the garble there are some written directions in
there. I appologize in advance for the mess but will try again.
