Okay, this may be a wild shot in the dark and a really crazy idea, but
nothing ventured, nothing gained as the old saying goes, so here goes.

I am currently subscribed to 4 different horse mailing lists. I remember
a couple of months ago someone on one of the lists talking about either
knowing or being a close neighbor of Ted Turner. Isn't he into raising
Arabians? I know that he probably isn't interested in personally owning
all or even any of these horses, but how about just putting up the money
to help save their lives. $76,000 is totally out of the question for me,
but for him, I doubt that it would be a big strain. <BG> Anyway, I'm
posting this message to all of the lists, hoping that whoever mentioned
this awhile back will respond.

Like I said, this is probably crazy, but I'm trying to do anything I can
think of to help all these horses.
