He doesn't have much heel, and my farrier is curretly trying to improve that, but as you can understand, this takes time and he is still on his second shoes.
I'm considering asking my farrier to put tungstene grip on the shoes, what I usually NOT do with my other horses because at the time we are on asphalt(which happens on 5% on our endurance rides here), I'm very cautious and watch what we are doing.
With Orpheo, I think this would be better, but I'm afraid on the possible effect on his tendons, because this doesn't permit any sliding any more.
Here in Europe, lots of riders actually are putting grips... What about the States?
