I think that someone had a low ringbone question out there. They were
wondering about feet angles, etc. The angles need to be steepened (as much
as conformationally correct) and it helps to square off the toes (roll over
also). This helps the horse to break over quicker and more easily, which
takes strain off the affected area. Mine has also benefited from
concussion pads in the rear (which is where his ringbone is), Cosequin and
DMSO sprays.
