Hi Randy,

I think we've boiled so much fat away that we've lost sight of the original
question. Which I read as: 'If a rider has paid for a ride and vets in,
then decides not to ride, should they get a refund? ...under what
circumstances?'

I think the discussion then became generalized to: 'should refunds be given
at any time under any circumstances'? As you can probably see, these are
two relatively different questions.

Yes, Randy, I did take a refund from you for the balance of the 1996
Renegade Rides that I did not ride when my mare colicked after the first
day's ride. This is the type of situation where all the ride management I
know will give some sort of refund. If the horse cannot Vet In. I also,
accepted your generosity in hauling us to your Vet in El Paso. That truly
was a "Rider Friendly" ride. I'd love to try it again.

Thanks for putting on so many rides for so many years. Our entire sport
owes you it's gratitude.

Why don't you come up to our area and ride some of the rides here.
(Refunds are given under most circumstances). You can see first hand if
these rides are "Rider Friendly". I won't be managing anymore (sigh of
relief) but, that's a good thing because I'm not really that friendly
anyway. <tic>
